Shame

I just had the strangest dream some nights ago in which I ended up being at some battle in Japan during the Samurai-period (we lost) and Glorfindel (who also showed up for some reason) commited seppuku because he could not bear the shame (I know, this is messed up).

So this could robably called crossover -- and most certainly also AU. Whatever - as I've just said - it is messed up, and I don't even know what it is supposed to be, it was jsut the immage that had hauted me the last days. If anyone sees that and thinks "wtf" - you are forgiven, I think the same way about this.

BUT: thinking of the fact that all the Elves at Helms Deep died because they chose to die instead of retreat and stand their ground - my brain is probably not SO wicked and eventhough I am pretty sure suicide would not be seen with pleasure by the Valar, it can be said that refusng a retreat and fight to death probably also is some kind of suicide. Whatever. I am still not sure abut this.

Since I would usually picture Glorfindel with longer, curly hair, it feels pretty weird saying this is him (the composition just looked much better with straigth hair) -- so here am I again - fiddling with hair-matters *facepalm*

Also mind: I know that this kind of suicide would usually be done with a bare torso, but it was a dream, so I believe you won't be ble to find some sense anyways
